Now if someone buys the game, and then realizes they have to buy every chapter just to compete equally in the pvp that they bought the game for, they will quit, and then thats no more money for anet, which means no more game.

In the begining anet stated that the only thing you will ever have to pay for is game content. If you cant handle that then Im sorry. No one who owns every game is better then some one who doesnt, its just they get more areas to go to.

This is really one of the stupidest arguments that I have ever heard. if I was a mod I would close this. They will keep the game balanced and only give access to the +30 to each individual chapter. It would be amazingly unfair if somepne could have full in all attributes, and someone new o the game tried to take them on in PvP.

4 years from now when chapter 10 is coming out i am old enough to be interested in this game and i look at a few forums and see that if i buy chapter 10 (or 1) i am about 260 attribute points behind (30 per chapter) and i say screw it if i spend that much time and money playing catch up

I'd hope the quests are still there and still doable -- just that they don't give you the 15 attribute points. I mean, that's what I pay for and play the game to do. Why remove the content I just bought because I already own and have played Prophesies?

Ingram, there is a big difference in bonus attribute points and all the skills.

Yes, not all skills will be available in all chapters. But it's quite a leap to say that unless you have every single skill in every chapter unlocked, you won't be able to make a competitive PvP character.

OK How about this FACT smarty pants.. there are 30 extra skills per class for factions... More then likely there will be more again for chapter 3. YOU will be the guy complaining to anet that

It the same aurgument... Extra attribs extra skills better armor. it will ALL effect PvP. If you dont have all the chapters the chances of you being competitive in PvP is slim to none anyway. Buh bye now.

So if you're a new player somewhere down the line who just found out about Guild Wars, and you don't want to spend some $200 for chapters 1-4, you're a leech? What you're proposing would make a player who has all of them stronger than one who just bought one chapter. This kind of elitism DISCOURAGES new players, and instead of earning $50 per new customer, Anet will be earning NOTHING, as they will pick a different game to play.

This has been said before, you don't seem to understand the concept.

And really, you're the one whining about wanting special treatment, whereas the ones you're accusing simply want equality. You get the extra content you pay for, you don't get to be more powerful ingame just because you spent more money.

I don’t know where I said I wasn’t buying factions, because I am. But once again you made a dumb assumption. I’m talking about other people, because unlike you I can see things from other peoples point of view.

If some one is new to the game, and willing to buy them all if they actually liked the game, they might be turned off from the start since they have to buy more chapters just to be able to compete right off the bat. So right there you are scaring people off from buying all the chapters right away because they will be forced into buying them all instead of enjoying them at their own pace.

You have no argument here. I bet you also want them to raise the level cap? because that’s basically what you are asking. You don’t make any sense at all, you say you support the game, but now you are getting upset because anet isn’t giving you something extra. You are already getting new skills and armor, new places to adventure through, and new weapons to get. And you want them to on top of that add extra attrib points to upset the balance of the whole game just because you bought every game.

You are now one special, you are not a unique snowflake, and you should not be given better treatment then some one that is new to the game

I’m not even responding to the rest of what you said because It makes no sense at all. You made a dumb assumption that I’m not buying the rest of the games. All and all, you are being completely ignorant, So just stop already and save yourself from digging your hole deeper.

And For the record by the time Anet makes chapter 3 or 4 I would image a deal to get all previous chapters in one package... And for that matter chapter two has ALREADY dropped the retail price of chapter 1. so there is no reason to believe that later chapters will not do the same.

I plan to support the game. All I am saying is I was getting tired of people expecting to be equal when they did not invest in the entire game to get that privilege. You people never did get it and never will. But when you all start complaining about it as I know you will I will vain no mercy. If that makes me an elitist. So be it. I believe in purchasing and supporting a game that I enjoy and expect to become a new standard for the industry, not sit by and be a freeloader. And with Anet you definitely get a lot for your dollar.
